Having read Kate DiCamillo's book, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane, I was extremely excited to dive into this one. I was however disappointed in the beginning as it has a very depressing start. As the first few chapters progress it does begin to take positive turn and is actually a phenomenal book! I have now purchased this book for my own personal library at home. Being chucked full of moral lessons, I give this book a glowing five stars (out of five of course) for all ages! --Mrs. Powers
